Pet Peeves

Here's a related pet peeve: People keep sending me texts or letters about buying our land. Today I got a text:

"Hey Sally, Alex here. I recently mailed you about your Belding parcel. Wondering if you're still holding onto it for something specific?"

My reply:
"Yeah. The rest of my life."

Take me off your list, Alex. Save us both time, save yourself postage.

I get those all the time, too

I started getting those too. Maybe if they continue I'll invite them to take me out to lunch to further discuss it.

I disabled auto-updates in Ye Olde Google Play Store on my phone. Well, those people at Google figured it'd be great to re-enable auto-updates to get my Google Photos to update (which I've purposefully not updated). Tough luck, Google, I caught you. But for once, can you maybe RESPECT the setting I set on my phone?

If Facebook came with your phone you can just disable it.

I've done a lot of Peeving on this thread. But I think I've found my Number One, Hands-Down, All Time worst Pet Peeve. It is Bad Smells. I got on an elevator today after a previous individual had.... perfumed it ... with some of the worst BO. You know the kind. Not just stale, but sour. The kind you think is sticking to you and you think, Other people will think it's me that smells like that! Then shortly after that I went into a restroom and. Well I'll just say the person in the next stall was clearly having what I refer to as "technical difficulties." Bless their heart.

Perfume in general bothers me.

I went to a fair recently. The barn had the smell of animal manure, and the bathrooms had the smell of human droppings. Gross.
