Chick with curled toes

One of my salmon faverolle eggs hatched about an hour ago. I’ve noticed that all toes on both feet are curled and I have read online about using thin cardboard and plaster to help straighten out it’s toes. I’m just wondering if it will be safe to remove the chick from the incubator whilst still wet, to splint it’s feet or should I wait until it is completely dry and fluffed up?
