Chick with eye issue

This is a baby partridge also known as a chukar he/she hatched sun/mon I dont know if the baby had this issue when it hatched I had close to 25 chukar and bobwhites I put in a brooder for that hatch. I can say I didnt notice anything but I didnt inspect every chick.
My son calls him alien baby


Sorry about the quality my 7 year old son was holding him and I was trying to take the picture its kinda hard with these little guys . It looks like it might just be the eye area but I coudnt tell you for shure. He can somewhat open the eye , there is no dranige or pus or anything , Is he deformed or is it likely and infection ro a diesese?
