Chick with leg problems, not eating or drinking

I had this little guy hatch out this past Thursday. He has something wrong with his legs, I think he has spraddle leg, but his legs are not all he way splayed out. Maybe he has a milder case of spraddle leg.

He can't walk, won't eat or drink, I am having to hand feed him, he just stand or lays in the corner sleeping. He doesn't seem to want to put any weight or pressure on one side.

For know I have him in a BandAid brace to see if that will help with his legs.

Any ideas of what else could be going on?

I think the chick is at the beggining stages of spraddle leg. To help this little guy I would reccoment securing his legs in the correct standing position with bandages which will limit his mobility but will let the legs develope in the correct position. It will also be good for the chick if you were willing to do physical therapy with it. This requires taking off the bandages and moving the legs and toes around in every position and then to simulate walking. This will strengthen his muscles and will hopefully get him walking again. As for feeding, continue hand feeding untill the chick begins walking again.

Thanks, but it doesn't look like he's going to make it. He just lays there now and will not move or open his eyes. Oh well at least I tried.
