I had a chick with a cross beak and only one eye once.

The spot where the other eye was supposed to be had fluff over it, and it looked and felt like there was just no eye or socket there. Then the fluff started watering...a phantom watering eye! It was so freaky.

Here are the pictures of "Blinky" named by the hubby. We plan to let him live and see how it goes, I do not want to cull him if it is not necessary. It is an Orloff, it was a shipped egg when the weather was cold and we lost our electricity for about 12 hours. Two others that were supposed to hatch were severely deformed, missing legs and beaks and one was a half beak. Only one hatched normal a BBS Orp.
So here it is....
