Chick with odd comb

We have a 3 week old gold laced Wyandotte that is active, happy, and growing right along with other chicks, but comb seems to be missing?? Is that possible?
Are we looking at a potential accidental cross breed from the hatchery?
She/he seems to be fine otherwise.

the comb is not missing, it is probably a rose comb

Agreed, it is probably just a different kind of comb. I don't know which though.

Wyandottes are supposed to have a rose comb, but some hatchery birds don't end up that way. Pictures below of my two hatchery hens, one has the correct comb, one doesn't. The rose comb is much smaller and will look flat much longer than a single comb coming in, but will eventually show up.

I got a Silver Laced Wyandotte from D@B and she had the wrong comb.
