I hatched a chick two days ago that appears to have a set of non functioning eyelids. This is my first time with chickens. My best guess is that there is a normal bulge under the lid, but at no time has that lid ever opened. It does not appear crusty. Is there anything that I can do for it? Is there something I could put on it to soften it up to see if it can work its way open? Thanks
