chick with trouble balancing - new symptoms

I've been feeding her boiled egg and chick starter. And giving her gravel (smaller than grit-I use it for the bantam chicks), sand and some oyster shell mixed together. She seems to be getting better. She looks more alert, she can walk a bit more before falling over and she'll pick herself up more often instead of scooting along like she was. I hope so anyway.

Thanks for all the help.

I have not been at this that long but I have read in more than one post NOT to give chicks oyster shell. It can affect their bone growth I believe. If she is getting only egg and chick starter, she does not need sand or grit. She only needs that when she starts eating harder things.

I didn't think oyster shell was good for them either but everyone said calcium and that was all I had, so thought I'd give it a try. I didn't give her very much of it and she does seem to be getting better so I think I will take the rest away from her now.
She was out in a chicken tractor with the rest so I'm not sure what she was eating but I know they would all run and dig around in the gravel when I put it in their cage so I figured if they wanted it that much, they probably needed it.

i lost 2 chicks with these same symptoms. now i think a 3rd one is sick too. im so stressed. how can i give my chick more calcium? i really need to do something fast someone help my chick has no balance to she looks drunk

Has your chick had any access to food that may have gotten wet? Moldy food can make them very sick and cause neurological problems like paralysis.

Egg shells are a good source of calcium, I have read that baby vitamins work but I have never tried it, I hope your chick gets better
