Chick with umbilical cord still attached help!

One of my chicks hatched in the incubator yesterday and I got it out to put in the brooder but the umbilical cord is wrapped around its leg and is still attached to the egg and the chicks tummy. What should I do?

Don't pull the cord, get a sterile pair of scissor s and cut it , leave about 1/2 an inch and it will dry up and drop off. I can't see in the pic, I'm assuming that the yolk has been absorbed.
