I too have a 3 day old that isn't drinking - she eats more than the rest though - goes crazy for food!
Yesterday she suddenly stopped moving, eating, or laying down (I'm thinking now that she had a tummy ache from all that eating)
...I forced her to take some drops of water, and she made it through the night - yea!
This morning she looks wonderful and is running around, but still no drinking - I'll try the *marble idea, I'm sure we have some around here somewhere.
I thought she'd catch on when she saw everyone else drinking - monkey see, monkey do ( I'm realizing with chickens - too funny!)
Should I separate her from the rest and not allow her so much food until I know she's getting enough water too?
Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks!
(*Marbles - saw posted that chickens like to peck at bright colored things so placing them in the waterere, they'll peck at them and then realize "oh water!" - for those reluctant to drink)
