They are fun and addicting. They have different personalities.

This is our third summer with chickens and we now have 2 coops.

Chicken math is Real. I was only going to have 10-12, then decided we needed about 20 and now will have 30ish. Just watch, your flock will grow. 😎 Share pictures when you can.

Welp, here I am now with 10 amazing chickens and it’s been a pretty fun journey. We got 10 straight run chicks, 2ea of 5 breeds. I figure that fact alone says we’re new at this. We’re learning though and it’s been great. We’ve had to trade some Roos for new chicks and I swore I wouldn’t name any more until I was certain they were keepers (aka hens). BUT! The new ones have names already. I swear they TELL me what to name them. 😂

I’m having g a blast and I’m excited to be on here learning every day and seeing everyone else’s beautiful babies. 🥰

I don't know whether to say Hooray for your new hobby or offer my condolences for catching "The Bug!" I'll stick with, "Welcome Aboard" and "So glad you joined!" It's a wonderful journey. Enjoy!
