If i want to show my Silkie roaster what do I do to prepare him? And how do I sign him up?

Most shows require blood testing to avoid disease. I always recommend getting a Standard of Perfection book for showing! Other than that, Careful bathing, nail and beak filing, etc to clean him up (like said above) is always a good idea before a show. Research shows and fairs in your area that are coming up and put in plenty of preparation for them. Their entrance papers might be on the site, or you might have to email someone to get them. If you're showing at a 4H fair, just email your club leader and ask for a form! If it's a 4H fair, there's probably not a fee to enter, but often times other shows require you to pay to enter
