Go to Index, in the blue bar above. The top subject is the FAQs. Halfway down the FAQs there are links to two threads will ALL the abbreviations commonly used on BYC.

The other abbreviations thread, where you posted just before starting this thread? The second post down is where I posted the SAME INFO. Might be nice to actually read before posting.

I have to say I am not a fan of Abbreviations when posting in a form like this. There are so many that can overlap each other and mean more than one breed.
But here are a few.

APA = American Poultry Association

ABA = American Bantam Association

IWBA = International Waterfowl Breeders Association

BCWP = black crested white polish

WCBP = white crested black polish or white crested blue polish

BBS = blue black splash

PR = partridge rock

OEG = Old English Game

OEGB = Old English Game Bantam

OE = Old English

RIR,
R.I. Red.
Reds
All are abbreviations for Rhode Island Red

BA Could mean Black Australorp, Black Anconas Black Ameraucana, Black Araucanas or Black Andalusians
BR Could mean Barred Rock or Bourbon Red (as in Bourbon Red turkey)
BLW could mean Blue Laced Wyandotte (as in Blue Laced Red) or Black Laced Wyandotte (as in Black Laced Red)
