I have 8 almost 1 year old hens. They were free range up until a week ago, but I had to stop that, as they were destroying my neighbors lawn and garden. My husband and I built them a very large fenced in run, which they have access to all day. In the past couple of days my one little lady has been spending more time in the coop. I didn’t think much of it, because she usually lays her eggs late in the day. Today though I found her in there at 5pm and when I went back at 7pm and 8pm there she was in the same position. At one point another lady went to go near her and she sort of ”yelled“ at her. I’m wondering if this is being broody or should I pick her up and check her out or should I just wait until the morning? Thank you!
