Chicken Acting Strange

Ok so one of my hens has been acting really weird today. She’s been going up into the roosting boxes and sitting there like they usually do to lay eggs, but she’s been there for a while. I picked her up and set her down with the others, she ran around for a bit and nothing looked wrong, but after a bit she just went right back into the roosting boxes. Is she egg bound? Or is this some sort of other behavior?

Sounds more like she's going broody.

Yeppers...she might be going broody!
How old is she?

Here's some clues.....
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, doesn't she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck sound on her way back to the nest?
If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.
