Chicken addiction is real

Oh my gosh, YES.

I'm itching for 2-5 acres with enough privacy to have at least 20 hens without worrying about neighbors and the like. My husband thinks I have lost my mind and he is probably right

We have to stay within a 30 minute drive to his job as he is on call for the hospital and that is the requirement but we should still be able to source our land in that radius..... Always scheming. I already know the next 12-18 breeds I want to try...Orpingtons, Sussex, Swedish Flower Hens, Silkies, Polish, Seramas.......

You have Pugs too. They are an addiction too. I have 2 of them.
:thumbsup

It really is a CRAZE and an ADDICTION! I use my 15 minutes breaks to come here and use my lunch breaks to let them free range and bond! Not today though! Today I am working through lunch so I can go pick up my NEW BABY CHICKS!!! Who I plan to peacefully spend the whole weekend with!

PUG PEOPLE!!

We have 2 also, I am completely in love with them! They don't know what to make of my chickens but we didn't have the chickens until the pugs were 8-9 years old so I don't expect any sort of integration to happen but I would love it if the next pugs and the chickens could all live in harmony :)

With a couple acres to play with your potential chicken count will end up a lot higher than 20.

I know!!! 20 is what I'm telling my husband but I'm pretty sure he knows better :)
Let me know how that goes! I got a big fat NO last night when asking if my brother could buy some chickens that I would basically raise on our farm. He said I would be enabling him or something like that. I'm trying anything to get more!! 15 seems to be his limit though. He doesn't understand chicken math.
