I have an EE who just joined my flock a little over a week ago. I just noticed that she isn't walking right - she's slow, sluggish, and can't quite keep her balance - her butt wobbles and she sometimes falls over a bit. It wasn't as hot here as it's been the last few days and they have food and water - what should I look for/check/try?

She's about six or seven weeks old, I believe.

I have been reading in Storey's guide and wonder if it could be Marek's?

Keep in mind as you read the following that I don't know what is wrong with your chicken:

I don't know but here's a link if needed.

Also it is helpful to consider maybe a vitamin deficiency if you aren't sure of the nutritional status of the chicken:

Finally, she is in that age range where one must be on the lookout for coccidiosis:

things to look for: lethargy, won't eat or drink, feathers fluffed up, diarrhea or bloody poo, stands in corner by himself and acts cold

If it were me, I'd get one of those vitamin/electrolyte packs from the feed store and put it in their water because you mentioned the heat. Sort of like pedialyte for chickens.
