Chicken and Dumpling Chowder for a cold Friday Night Supper

I had no choice in my stove really.

When we moved in this house we decided to use the appliances until they fell apart - which wasn't long!

When my stove went out I had to have one ASAP. We went to Lowes. I chose it because of 2 ovens and convection. The second oven is also a warming drawer. Perfect in a rush and it was in stock in the store. It was very early in the morning and the manager got it on the truck for same day delivery. It has served its purpose very well.

This is basic chicken and dumplings then I dress itup with cream sauce, a few peas, corn and carrots to make it very heavy and calorie loaded for icey cold weather.

My dad bought us the matching stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher
as a very cool housewarming gift. For the price I find them to be a good
value.

The hardest part is keeping it clean.

You're not supposed to use cast iron on the stove top but I am very careful and do anyway. Ooops!
