It takes time for a cohesive flock to form but they eventually will with lots of space and resources.

My flock started 3 years ago. That's when I found this site. All but 2 ... RIP, are doing great. You will do fine! Chickens only need good feed, fresh water, and a LOT OF LOVE, which I know you can provide!

Wow, thank you all so much! I’m really impressed and it’s so nice to have others in the same boat but with experience! I’m in a city with a “3 hen only” rule... so I’m at my max! I’ll figure out how to load pix of my dearly departed, and current three. I really, really appreciate the replies & advice!
