Chicken appears to have egg stuck?

My chicken recently started laying eggs and she's just standing in the nesting box. It's been like an hour or even more.

She is around 6 months old

You could try to insert a clean finger inised her vent to feel for a stuck egg. Has she been eating layer feed and does she have access to crushed oyster shell for extra calcium? If you feel an egg, give her a human calcium tablet and if she is not too weak, soak her bottom in a warm pan of water. If you don’t feel an egg, she might just be getting used to laying. The calcium tablet might help if it is an egg stuck too hight to feel.
