Chicken ate mood ring!!!

I've often looked at my chickens and wondered what they were thinking. Maybe since yours ate a mood ring, you will be able to tell? Sorry, bad joke. I really do hope your chicken is OK! Let us know what happens.

I saw my 8 month old pullet eat a piece of glass about the size of a dime. Our house gets a lot of wind and a really bad storm blew the light fixtures off the front of the house a few months ago. Glass was everywhere. We tried to get it all, but there was a little pile under the grill. Anita gobbled it up.

She was totally, 100% fine. She was killed by a fox about 4 months later, but the glass seemed to do her no harm.

Silly chickens.
