Chicken ate my earrings. Need advice.

Pics
She looks more dark than light...she looks like a female to me as well. This has been an incredibly entertaining thread...lol. I like the fruit salad pics!

In all seriousness, I hope she's able to pass both earrings without any harm. I'm hoping your earrings are easy to find too. :fl

I don't know the biology stuff that well, but I surely wonder how the crop/gizzard plays into all this. Can the earring make it thought that, etc....
If you google "chicken ate earring" there are several similar stories, some right here on BYC. I hate to sound negative, but here's a sample:

By the way, should things turn out well, you could immediately call your local TV news station; they might really "eat this up".

Aww lol! I hope you get your earrings soon!! How old is he/she?

Penelope is 9 weeks, 2 days old.

Hey now with poops little that you might actually have a hen there! Little comfort I know but I've never had a roo poop that big.Your husband surely wouldn't hurt a lady. Roos take little bitty poops that looks like a hen poop.

I didn't know that! I hope she's a she. I'm not sure how much that affects my husband but he is being much nicer to Penelope today. I think he's sorry he threatened her with getting fried!
