Is it a rooster? Sounds like mating behavior.

How old is this chicken? It can also be a dominance thing. Sounds like your Barred Rock is establishing herself (if indeed it is a pullet or hen) as the top of the pecking order.

She just started laying, as well as the others, so I’m thinking this is a dominant behavior, but she tried pulling the other chickens feathers out! I’m very worried

How much space do they have (in feet by feet)? How old are these birds? What are you feeding them? Do they ever free range?

Lol thanks! And the birds are about 6 months, have a quarter of an acre, feeding them organic chicken feed (the pellet stuff lol) and they free range all day

They get goofy when they start laying.....changes the pecking order.
Things will settle down once they are all laying regularly.
