I have 3 barred rock and o e black star. I let them out of their coup for the first time today. Strange thing happened, they were all actively foraging and then all of a sudden they stood stone still? Why?

HahaBut they are Barred "Rocks" Rocks stay pretty still in my opinion. I'm joking.
I live in central Florida, lots of predators. Most likely a red tailed hawk then, we have lots of thoseIt's most likely a predator. Maybe a raptor flew by?
Next time it happens, look to the sky to see if there's a bird flying by. If there isn't any, look around the place and see if you find some fox or raccoon (if you have any where you live.)
