If i put Lil duck in the coop with the others,Wont they peck him because they see blood and possibly kill him?
I would continue to keep little duck separated where he can't fight with the other rooster or have his wounds pecked at.

It can vary by breed too, I think. Lighter, smaller breeds tend to mature faster.Mine started trying to mate with my female at nine or ten weeks old.
bloody one is caged up. They are all 4 months oldIn my experience, comb injuries don't usually require a whole lot of treatment besides keeping that particular chicken out of trouble, and making sure that it isn't getting any worse. Is the bloody one caged up or the other one?
How old are they?
Ok, good. Let him chill in there for a day or two before letting him out.bloody one is caged up. They are all 4 months old
Thanks. The Big boss is Oscar.Ok, good. Let him chill in there for a day or two before letting him out.
If you watch them, can you tell which one is the "big boss?" It might be a good idea (MIGHT) to cage up both boys until you can sell them, or just let them out one at a time.
That's quite unusual. What breed?Mine started trying to mate with my female at nine or ten weeks old.
