Very cute Kassaundra! I'm jealous of that greenery though. We have stuff turning green here... tumbleweeds, foxtails, and a couple other things but nothing pretty like your yard.

That hensbit is the first thing to green up in spring and the last thing to go away in fall (doesn't stay for out summer though) Daffy's and hyacinth are blooming too. As are forsythia, Bradford pears, redbud and dogwood.

I'm jealous too of the green! We still have feet of snow on the ground with more to come (another predicted 12-18" on Friday). Haven't seen ground since the first of December. This is a never-ending winter! Next week it is supposed to be in the 40s, so there is hope that some will melt.
Post more pictures, so I can live some sort of Spring through them.

Thanks for all the nice comments about my quilt, it wasn't difficult but took a long time!
Where's Kat? She's been missing again! Hope she's not ill, not like her to not be here!

Hello ladies,

I'm here I am using the internet and pc at the library so I don't come here very often but I love the quilt beautiful, and the pictures of the babies and cooliechick I wish you a speedy recovery and pop in and out we will be here and hope you can join us in the future.

Popping in for a quick post. I have to have some huge blouses/shirts to wear over my normal body and my arm in a sling. That has been a big part of the last two days. First a trip to my favorite thrift store, and now, washing, ironing and making alterations. I know some of the buttons will be way too small for me to button with only my right hand, so, ripping out and going to replace buttons and make bigger button holes. Such fun~ ~ ~ ~

I have a batch of eggs in my incubator, and, tonight there is one that has a peep hole. I also heard a little peep. Hope more hatch than just that one. I am so excited !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been years since I have hatched any fowl. I was raising canaries but the hens do the hatching there. It is a real challenge when the mother doesn't feed. They are so tiny to hand feed but it can be done.

Glad your doing well, velcro would be my solution, sing to your peepers, I did it as an experiment and the chicks were even more attached to me, lol every time I would turn the bator and when they were hatching I would sing a little chicky song I came up with and then when they were bigger and in the yard when I'd call them some even flew up onto my shoulders but it became a hazard to try and walk with 20 birds at your feet
