Chicken block swap due June 15th

I sent my blocks into town with my daughter today so they should be on their way. Hopefully she brings me the receipt with the tracking number on it and I can let you know. I forget to tell her I needed that receipt so we'll see.

Mine are completed. Sorry for the delay! First time doing applique and was fun doing the patterns amd using heat and bond...didnt think about the stitching around the chicks. ..that wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Redid several, broke 2 needles, lost a comb or two ... lol...and completed them over my long weekend at camp. Learned a lot and had lots of laughable moments! They aren't perfect but proud of my first attempt.

Ok, I have hit a technical hitch! Went to Venice with my husband to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and was taken ill the last night. He got me home as I didn't want to be stuck out there.
Luckily we had flown to our small local airport so I went straight to hospital, where I still am. Gall bladder has to come out but they have to get stones out of ducts first. Going for second scan this morning so will know more after that.
The blocks? Well all the work is done and they are trimmed to 8 1/2 waiting for a border to go on so the worse case is you may all have to put your own on but I'm hopeful of release this week.
The antibiotics are working and I'm given loads of pain relief and the wifi is good so I'm quite happy, if only I could have my sewing machine......

Oh! so sorry you got sick! But at least it was on the last day and not the first! Hope you are up and about soon. Will be praying for a quick recovery. Water ambulance!!?? Interesting!
