Chicken books!

I got two chicken books for Christmas.

One was a total bullseye (nicely done, Mom!): Extraordinary Chickens - beautiful photographed, lots of neat pics of interesting birds... FUN!

And a not-so-great book (nice try, Mom): The Chicken Who Saved Christmas - it's weird, and all the hen does is "squack" directions. And seriously... a "glitter surprise book"?!? I'm 34!!!

Did you get any good chicken books from Santa?

Oh, I totally forgot!! My mom found me a first edition of "The Egg and I". The book is set on Vashon Island, which is across the Puget Sound from my town.

I got the 2001 Standards, and the Avoid the Vet book from practical poultry!

I didn't get any books. But that is ok with me. I woud rather pick out my own.....
