Chicken Breed Focus - Faverolles

Any estimates as to when these ladies usually start laying? I have one who's definitely become more chatty, her comb is getting pretty red, and she's started squatting, but she's only 5 months next week. Seems early? Not that I'd complain 😊

My focus is on Leghorns,but when we ordered our Leghorn chicks from Murray McMurray, I showed my wife pics of the Salmons, she fell in love with them, so we ordered a quad.We breed parrots as a hobby and we have our Salmons inside the parrot enclosure areas,since from the get-go, we noticed that they were not as pushy and calmer during feeding time than the Legorns.
I have to say that these chickens are by far the sweetest, most docile, most friendly, the most amusing and entertaining to watch chickens we have.
Besides their feed they also enjoy any treats that the parrots; being messy eaters; drop to the ground.The hens are starting to lay eggs and we couldn't be happier with them. The rooster is a gentleman he's never aggressive but he's always been vigilant of his girls,especially when we carry one of them.
There's even one female that will follow me and stand on top of my boot as I am spreading out the feed to the the chickens.
A+++!
Great starter birds for anyone especially children as they are very approachable and not flighty.
