Don't worry, that can happen especially with new layers. They are just working out the kinks. Some may lay off and on to start and others every day or every other day. Each bird is different. Good luck and have fun.

I don't know what feed you are giving to your birds but assuming it is a layer feed usually the protein is around 16%, maybe give them game-bird feed which is around 20%. I sometimes feed my birds that especially when they are molting as I think the higher protein feed helps them with growing in their new feathers. Mine have recently gone through molts and some still are so I feed them the higher protein feed. I have friends that are getting next to nothing or maybe 1 or 2 eggs. I am still getting eggs though not as many.

I have been feeding them alfalfa and given them crickets and mealworms and frogs
