aaaah no that is sad. Sorry for your loss.
I'm terrified my pooches will try take out my chooks. 1 of the girls has made a beeline 2x now and i had to chase around the garden to get her. Luckily the jack russell is too old (and got a smack the first time as she did chase the chook around the garden).. still I also have a border collie and although he has showed zero interest in the girls I don't trust him.

Yay I finally found orpingtons (lavender and blue splash) 5 of each 2 week old chicks. Fetching them tomorrow will put up some pics

Oh so sweet Colin Fow, happy chicks with their momma always warms my heart looking at them.. I am glad you clarified the fallen over one, or you probably would have had hysteria on your hands after posting the photo
