Chicken breeds you want

I'd love to have a frizzle but they wouldn't do well in my climate. Same with silkies. Sigh!
Yeah, I figure with all that wide-open feathering they'd probably be my coolest birds in our summers 🥵.

But we get some pretty strong winds here most of the year, dunno, just seems like their feathers would get "yanked" around all the time compared to smooth feathered. LoL or is that just my idiot overactive imagination again? 🤣

Oh boy, do I have a list!

It will never happen unless I win the powerball or something so I can build proper climate-controlled shelter, but Índio Gigante... Big, beautiful dinosaurs.

Skånsk Blommehöna. I love the variation in color and I want a bunch of them.

Speckled Sussex. One of the oldest known breeds (as in, their lineage can be traced back to around 40CE). I just think they're neat.

Chantecler
Silkie
Marans (any type)
Barnevelder
Norske Jærhøn
Orpington
Brahma
More Wyandottes, always 😆
Lovely list!
You sure do have a thing for chickens with names I can't pronounce. 😂
The gigante chickens are so prehistoric looking. It'd be so awesome to own one of those!

Mosaics, blue earlobes!
But I definitely need more colored eggers.

Have a black ameraucana, waiting for her first egg.... LoL she's a zippy little thing but pretty cute. Would like to get a splash one.

And I'm developing this weird weakness for frizzles, they're just so.... scattered.... looking 😁🤣
I definitely agree with the mosaics. I love the colors on those things!
Ameraucana is a chicken breed I will get one day.

I have 3 Barnevelders. First time having this breed. They're beautiful, calm and friendly and nice brown eggs, but boy Oh Boy are they chatty cathy's, especially when someone's in their favorite nesting box. 😁

Ever since I seen chocolate Easter egger from my pet chicken years ago I wanted those but then they stopped carrying them. So I made my own! Might have took a few years but. This was the pic they used

This is one of my 5 chocolates.

Then I wanted one of these after seeing this pic

But since they are not a recognized color nor any in the US I had to make my own
So this is mine took about 5 years to get this far still working on the leg color
