Chicken breeds

I have the following breeds in mind already: Australorp, Easter Egger, RIR, Barred Rock, and / or Dominique. I would like the thumbs up or thumbs down on these, and even other recommendations for a stable laying heritage flock. I also plan to have a pet family friendly flock separated as well! Thanks for any and all opinions and advice!
