Hey everyone, i am new to this and Google has officially freaked me out about heat lamps. I have my 2day old chicks in a plastic tub. My heat lamp is clamped onto my DVD shelf and i have a metal dog pen on top in case the lamp falls. Is there anything i should change or be concerned about? All help is aprreciated

As long as the chicks are warm enough, then it looks fine to me. Chicks huddling together means they are cold. Avoiding the heat source means they are too warm. You can search for ideal temperatures for chicks.
