Maybe not so funny to the little chook - more of a sticky situation!

Ohhh, the poor lil stickie chickie!! I do feel quite bad for her.

Yet, at the same time, I did chuckle.
Hmm, can we patent your new chicken catcher?

(hint>fat dissolves fat and a washup in a mild dishsoap after should do the trick) here is the recommedations from veterinary source:
"...To remove asphalt or sticky traps used to control or monitor insect and rodent populations, polysorbate 80 containing cremes may be used, but butter may be equally effective and much less expensive. Alternatively, a mechanic's hand degreaser (e.g., Goop

) may be quite effective. These agents may also be effective in removing oil-based paint from animals. Naturally, this is followed by a thorough bath. "

I had the exact same thing happen to a chicken I was going to be showing in a month. It was horrible. Like you, I was so worried that I didnt take pics. Sure wish I did though, it was hyterical. Her head was wrapped up, her tail was wrapped up, it went between her legs like a diaper. She would not let me catch her so she got it all off herself. I let her be for the month and when it came time for her show bath, all the glue had worn off the feathers.
