Hi,

so my chicken coop is in a fully secured run. 7 foot fence, wire overhead, and wire buried10 inches under the ground connecting to the fence (and the wire is pretty thick, about half inch little squares). Have of the coop is covered to protect from the elements.

The coop doesn't have an automatic door, as it would interfere with a window, but i can't open it and close it everyday, so for right now i am leaving it open.

I am however based in NY so i need a winter solution that isn't manual. Is there one? I guess if it comes to that, i could sacrifice the window, but it would be a shame! I was thinking about trying this:

Any opinions?
