If you want to have some heat for those extreme cold days, -20°F to -30°F or more, there is a product called Sweeter Heater. It is radiant heat, so it doesn’t heat the coop, it warms the birds that are under it. You can get a wall side mount or a hanging overhead hanging type.
Good ventilation is key, with no wind to ruffle feathers-and dry space-most coops/birds do fine with no heat.

Welcome to BYC! Why don't you try one of two things. They make Dog House heaters like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hound-Heater...words=Dog+House+Heater&qid=1637087675&sr=8-51 or they make cheap radient heaters for chickens. But I just checked the reviews and they aren't very good. There's one that is made in the USA and has very good reviews, but it's an investment. I think it would be worth it to not worry about a fire: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CYUZSQ...olid=39YOVK3RTH2AD&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Hope this helps!
