Chicken Cough?

They are sneezing. It might be from dusty conditions or sometimes dust in the feed. Chickens don't get colds but they can get a variety of respiratory ailments... If you're worried, for starters you can get some vitamin/ electroyte poultry vitamins from the feed store, to mix in their water for a few days. Just keep an eye on them while they're on the vitamins and see if it continues. If it does, it could be that they have CRD or MG. Both are treatable. Do they have any swollen eyes, or noticeable discharge from their nose or eyes? Are they eating well and do they look and act healthy? Good color in their combs, bright eyes? Are they sneezng just occasionally or is it something regular? Please keep us posted.

Hi, I am wondering about something that sounds like a cough that came from my two of my chickens (see here for recording: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7RsPFrrpnhB1HrpS8 ). Is it dangerous, or just the chicken equivalent of a cold? Should I quarantine them? Do they need any medicine?
Thanks in advance
How often are you hearing that, is it a one time thing - were they eating/drinking before, during or after you heard that?
It is a sneeze, which can be caused by a number of things from dust to respiratory disease.

Check them over well - any mucous from the nostrils, is the inside of the beak clear of obstruction and canker, any wheezing or congestion, facial swelling, watery/bubbly eyes or lethargy?

I would not medicate unless you see clear symptoms of respiratory illness. Keep in mind that there are several respiratory diseases and conditions that chickens can have. Certain diseases make birds carriers for life - here's some reading for you
