chicken cross pheasant?

The phesants are all richly coloured game birds, with white collars , the pheasant hens are lighter browns and fawn. This chick is very much like its Mum with bright white feathers but a brown breast, the only thing is the strange coloured legs which are a grey/blue unlike any of my other chcikens and something I have not seen before. It also seems to have almost a crest and very little comb. The chick hatched out on the 01.04.09 - no really LOL ir did, so it has been a bit of a joker from the word go !

If you have not had your hens for awhile.. I mean if you just got them right before she laid the eggs and decided to hatch them.. The place you got her from may have had a roo.. And in that case she may have been fertile for a few weeks with out a roo..

Im no expert.. And I dont know if she was a new hen to you.. But I have heard of people buying hens.. And they hatched out eggs.. And the new owner never had a roo..

Just an idea...

I had the mum for about 3 months before she hatched the chick so would be suprised if she was still "carrying" for that long. The mums legs are no where near the colour of the chicks . I think the chick is cute though
