I have a small hobby farm, now 3 Buff Orpingtons and 4 Rhode Island Reds. On Friday, one of the Orpingtons (about 3 years old) because very lethargic and was barely moving around. I came on the forum and it sounded as though she may have worms and I picked up something at our local farm center. On Saturday, she was not moving at all, I had to actually give her water and just give her a comfortable place to be. Today, I picked her up to give her more water and she was almost limp, she took some water, I layed her down for a moment, and she died.
Any ideas? Is the rest of my flock in danger?
*I should add that she was very puffed up the whole time and by the end her comb looked somewhat shriveled and blue*
