I have a flock with around 30 adult chickens and close to another 70 chicks from 2 weeks to 4 mths old. I purchased about a dozen adult chickens from a local auction about a mth back., but now im seeing with in all the different ages of chickens, bubbles in the eyes, sneezing and there faces are a palish color. I've tried tetracyclines in the water and there not dying as much but still look sickly. Im kind of running out of options for I have a big order of chicks coming in from a healthy breeder and i dont want them to become sick and lose them to. so i do not know whether to kill off my entire flock and strip the cage down completly or try some miracle cures if there are any out there. Thank you to anyone who has advice, idea or anything.

I can't help with the disease (that sounds horrible!! I'm so sorry!) but since you have a new batch of chicks coming you will want to do some heavy duty quarantining. Can you get a new pen/brooder set up as far away from your sick chickens as possible?

Here is a really great posting by some members from BYC: Buff Hooligans' Adding New Chickens to Your Flock!

Possibly:
Swollen Head Syndrome
Coryza

You can use the 'Search' function to look for more info on these. Specify the 'Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures' section for your search.

Best wishes
