Oh great! It's wonderful if you can help.

I have a Buff Orp hen 2 y.o., was healthy laying regular eggs, and became lethargic and no appetite, lost a lot of weight in the last two weeks or so. I gave her antibiotic day 2 after she got sick but that did not help, so I just fed her soft liquid food using a syringe couple of times a day. Her poop is also soft, bright yellow colored. I have not checked for mites, worms, etc. mainly because I don't know how to do it and haven't research on how to do it. She likes to just rest in the shade and not do anything. She gets out of her coop in the morning and goes back in the evening with her buddy. Last few days, she eats a couple of 'bites' on her own, but still lethargic, not much improvement. She is not contagious so far as all the other hens are still healthy.

What should I look for to find out what's wrong? and how to treat it? Thanks in advance.
