OK you all may know about this but I have found this PBS documentary on Chickens! I have netflixed it and I can not wait to see it! Anyway I just wanted to put this out there for all of the other chicken crazies out there like me who have never seen this.

You can buy it at shoppbs.org or get it on Netflix.

DVD description:
Most people best know the chicken from their dinner plates -- whether as thigh, wing or drumstick. Consumers barely pause a moment to consider the bird's many virtues. Filmmaker Mark Lewis (Cane Toads: An Unnatural History and Rat) expands the frontiers of popular awareness and delightfully reveals that this small, common and seemingly simple animal is as complex and grand as any of Earth's creatures.

If that is the one I saw on PBS a while ago, its pretty cool. Shows chickens in like small back yard setting, in fighting bird setting, and hatchery. I thought they painted hatcherys as nice places... yet showed them sliding down big slides and dropped into bins. Oh well, it is somewhat educational for those who never seen a non store bird and rather interesting.
