Had to laugh when I walked in the coop today and saw this. 9 nesting boxes to choose from, but they all want this one. I couldn't even tell how many total birds there were in there. There were a few buried at the bottom of the pile. The top ones were actually laying their eggs on the backs of the other birds, and they would roll off.

yes, the white one in the front seems to have lost her head.

Funny! Gotta love chickens! I can imagine all the racket the was going on before they all jammed in there, too.

Love the fact my girls aren't the only ones. We have 7 boxes for 10 girls they only use one and usually at the same time

You should put an egg carton in the bottom of the nest box....all you'd need to do is collect it and put it right in the fridge...they'd take care of filling for you!
