oh I so know what you mean, I bought hardware cloth to screen the window for when it is open. I didn't even get to the cash register at home depot when DH saw it I got the look and then he said , we have chicken wire left at home.
We have been "discussing" chicken wire all weekend he says its plenty strong enough and I said no I've read all the posts and they say to get hardware cloth.
He has just slide bolts on doors and I'm wedging 2x4 up against them.And he calls me crazy for doing it.
