So I have 17 chicken eggs in he incubator and one Muscovy egg, my question is since they were put in on the same day will there be a problem when hatching comes around

So I have 17 chicken eggs in he incubator and one Muscovy egg, my question is since they were put in on the same day will there be a problem when hatching comes around

they should be fine.. lockdown humidity shouldn't hurt the muscovy since it will only be for a few days.. once the chicks are out wipe down the mess in the bator and drop the humidity back down for the muscovy egg.. just remember it will take a few more weeks before the muscovy will be due to hatch (though you should candle the egg around day 10 to make sure it's fertile)

a muscovy egg needs to lose about 14% of it's weight through incubation... so long as it's losing weight on schedule a few days of higher humidity won't affect it enough to cause problems
