Was able to take the chicken to a local vet only paid $43. She had COCCIDIOSIS. Thank you all for the help I love this site and the info I get from it.

Could I make another couple of suggestions? After you are done with the Corid treatment, please think seriously about using ACV in your bird's water, or if the PH of your water is already low, say around 5-6, sprinkle cayanne pepper onto their food. You don't need a lot, just top dress their feed. One last thing, I know this is a very hard time of year for a major cleaning of your house or coop but it needs to be done. Oxine, if you can get it, bleach and water if not. Thoroughly clean the house, nest boxes, run, water and feed dishes. If you fail to do this they can get the cocci back and it will be much harder to get rid of the second time around.I bought corid to treat, and also bought sand and DE for the coop. Hopefully we can get it under control I never thought i would like chickens the way that i do. They make me laugh and brighten each and everyday I watch them.
