Chicken egg hasn't zipped yet ☹️

Any updates? Is the chick doing ok?

Ive been following Crestcrazy2 since Mothers day. Its nerve racking for me and it's not even my chick! Lol

I think it might have possibly been shrink-wrapped because when I opened up the egg so that I could see everything was hard and dry around the chick so I wetted it and it's looking a lot better its wing is not stuck on its eye anymore !

Yes it's chirping more than normal and I hope that that's a good sign

Good! It's up to you to assist more or leave the rest to him, he might have wasted all his energy trying to get out while shrink-wrapped. If you put him back in the incubator make sure to check on him in a couple hours to make sure he isn't stuck again!

Yeah I put him back in the incubator so I will check on him ,probably every few minutes ,haha

He's out! Along with another chick that only had a pip when I was in larging the whole but now has completely zipped and hatched within probably 2 hours! I'll try and get some pics

This one is the other chick that hatched on its own .

The one with egg shell on its back is the one I assist hatched it still has some egg shell stuck to its back so I need to get that off how do you propose I do it

I'm so thankful for all your help, that chick probably wouldn't have made it if I hadn't taken your advice thank you everyone !
