Chicken/ Egg Tax Question

My account asked me to ask if people in Fl who sell& Ship fertile eggs in/out of state, if they have to charge sales tax on eggs? What do you have to do special for an egg selling business or to sell the occasional live chicks ? Any exemptions, etc I should find out about etc.....

I do not charge sales tax on anything sold out of state. As I understand it, I would have to have representation in a state to charge tax, ie a store etc. Of course then again, I file a Schedule C Farm also.

I don't remember anyone charging me sales tax on eggs either ............... hummmmmmmmmmmm
