Chicken Emergency!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I had to make an account on here to ask for some very crucial advice. My Amerucana got ahold of a 3 in long piece of gauze and swallowed whole before I could stop her. Now she has not been able to poop. Ive given her about three enemas to help to soften her poop up, but the gauze wont budge. she did have some poop squirt out with the help of the enema but not a substancial amount. She was still eating and drinking the last time I went outside, but I just observe her keep trying to push it out with no result. I went outside a Couple min ago and blood came out of her vent along with her anal gland. My family says she has about till Monday to live, I separated her from the others and put her in our quarantine coop. Is there anything we can do its been 24 hours?

Kelsie's suggestion is the best, is there any chance your could call a vet, and see if he might give a bit of advice over the phone. I hope she will be okay.

How old is she ???



The Gause is going to soak up a lot of water and cause a slowing
but you can inject floudes into her crop with something like this but
go slowly to keep her hydrated and help push it out ....
